Lexington Contemporary

Project Overview

Set adjacent to the verdant hills of a suburban golf course, this project called for the construction of several additions, including an indoor pool, within a contemporary design vernacular. Climate control issues of the pool necessitated collaborative teamwork between the owner, architect, and builder. Playful interior millwork added a lighthearted touch that inspired the project’s contemporary design. Renovations in other selected areas completed the overhaul of the residence. An article about this project appeared in The Boston Globe Magazine in 2005; and it received a Platinum Luxury Living Award for Best Master Suite in 2005.

Hear from the Owner

“We are extremely pleased with our addition. The project was well organized and went very smoothly. It was a pleasure to work with the GF Rhode team.”

Hear from the Builder

“This project allowed us to explore contemporary architecture, together with an increasingly common design feature of an indoor pool. We worked together with the owner and architect on the pool’s climate control issues, and the result was a great project that helped all of us to develop new and rewarding relationships.”
